Luck of the 06

Graduation, 2006. "School's out for summer." I am currently reflecting on all that ended. It will take a little while to process it. And I am leaving for a road trip on Friday. It looks like in July I will figure out how to do this. This equals how to use this blog interface.
I'll post more then.

This is the picture that I want to use for my profile, but I haven't figured out how to put it there yet.

Ready to go? Not quite yet.

The 2006-2007 school year ends this week. I've completed my second year at Greenwich High School; I loved it just as much as last year.
My grading is just about done and tomorrow I will enter the grades on the computer and print verification sheets. After contacting some parents, filing my papers and cleaning up I will officially be done. What's great about teaching is that every year there's a clear start and finish.

Once July comes I can focus on all the preparations for my exchange. I'm currently reading a book about surviving overseas as an American. The Fulbright Organization sent it to me. It's an easy read with solid information about culture, values and communication.

I set up this blog to record and share some of the preparations for this incredible experience.
